Hari Bhasin – TCA Foundation Junior Ambassador
What made you want to be involved with TCA Foundation?
I wanted to become a member of TCA Foundation because I visit The Cricket Asylum regularly and I saw all the brilliant things that they had been doing so I wanted to join. When I took part in the 24 hour Netathon I found about them coaching underprivileged individuals, running free cricket camps with free meals, and how they help the community. I also wanted to become a member as my dad is also a trustee.
What is you earliest Cricket memory?
It is my first game, playing in the Blackley Cricket Club Under 9’s when I was seven against Stainland. I absolutely loved it, and after that cricket has been my favourite sport.
Most memorable cricket moment?
My most memorable moment is when I took five wickets for two runs in 1.5 overs for Blackley against Copley in the Under 15’s league in the 2022 season, when I was 13. Another memorable moment would be when England won the 2019 World Cup, as I was stuck in front of the TV watching it all day, nervous for what the result was going to turn out to be.
