Ben Coles – TCA Foundation Junior Ambassador
What made you want to be involved with TCA foundation?
I am massively into cricket and have been since the age of ten. Fortunately, I have been able to pursue my urge to play at as high a level as I can. It is for this reason that I have decided to get involved with the foundation in order to provide young cricketers such as myself with a chance to be able to improve and succeed at this game.
What is your earliest cricketing memory?
Watching the 2018 England v India series. I remember shortly after the first test, I became completely obsessed with cricket and started training at The Cricket Asylum the following winter, before playing my first outdoor season in 2019.
Most memorable cricketing moment?
Scoring my first ever half century, opening the batting for Warley 2nd XI against Blackley towards the end of the 2022 season, at the age of 14. Playing in Barbados and at the Kensington Oval also remains a very strong cricketing memory. An amazing experience that I will never forget.
