James Didgiunaitis is the owner of Expion Search & Selection, based in Lindley, Huddersfield. Expion recruits senior high volume manufacturing professionals across the UK and Europe within the Food, FMCG & Healthcare sectors.
His interest in cricket started at an early age – 4 years old watching Geoff Boycott at Park Avenue & Headingley– and he played for Copley CC in the Halifax League from the age of 7 to 17. This interest in cricket now is very much geared around his 2 sons who play cricket in the Halifax League for Stones CC in Ripponden.
“Tobias & Max’s selection for Yorkshire schools cricket is as a direct result of the input of all the guys at The Cricket Asylum, especially Tom Kershaw, Jack Hendy and Matthew Dawson.”
James’ firm belief is that cricket should be open to all, regardless of background and should not be dependent on the school you attend or the amount of money that you have, in order to buy all the kit that you need to play hardball cricket.
