Funded cricket coaching for local schools…

With the recent news from the government about our return to normal life, we’re springing into action to make sure children are active and cricket is back in the calendar within Lancashire and Yorkshire!

Cricket AsylumHands up if you want free cricket coaching in your school!

Thanks to funding from various channels sourced by the excellent TJB Funding, we are delighted to be able to offer cricket sessions within primary schools from the 8th of March when schools go back, at no cost to schools in the schools! It’s vital our children get back to an active lifestyle and begin to engage with community sports (especially cricket!), and we can’t wait to see balls being whacked around schools yards again.

The lucky youngsters from within the selected areas of Lancashire and Yorkshire will receive in school cricket sessions delivered by a Cricket Asylum professional coach, this will be backed up by information about local community sessions and advice on how to join local clubs.

  • Increased activity for children
  • Support for local schools
  • Increase participation at local cricket clubs
  • Developing profile of cricket in the community
